Overview

Advanced Microgrid Solutions (AMS) is a company that specializes in energy conservation and the production of clean energy. By installing large, rechargeable, Tesla batteries, AMS is capable of taking normal buildings and convert them to Hybrid Electric Buildings. The batteries allow AMS to shift a fleet of buildings to battery power when a typical power grid is under heavy strain and energy is at it's most expensive point. Inversely, when energy demand is lower, the batteries will recharge.

The product is an operational tool provided to all AMS customers. This tool provides managers a number of ways to track incredibly complex information regarding their buildings' power consumption.

In addition to the operational tool, the project scope required a refresh to AMS's current website.

The creation of both the product and website required heavy collaboration with other disciplines through both production and development.

Early Wireframes

Some of the earlier wireframes made for the management tool. These were largely focused on navigation and how data would be presented.


Second Set of Wireframes

These are a few of the wireframes to come out of the second iteration (post-visual design). This set was still focused on the presentation of data, but also focused on the more granular details regarding interaction. The follow sets continued to make changes to the overall navigation framework, presentation of data, and micro-interactions.
